Students Receive FFA Jackets


Sidonna Hershey received her jacket from Morton’s Feed Mill, and it was presented to her by Marlin Lynch. Through the efforts of Fulton County Farm Bureau and the generosity of three concerned ag businesses in Fulton County, one student from each of the three-county FFA chapters has been given a “Blue” jacket.

Destiny Berkstresser, 10th grader, is the recipient at Southern Fulton. She is the daughter of Barb and Donald Berkstresser. Her jacket was provided by Wilkins Farm and Home Supply of Warfordsburg and was presented to her by Gary Truax.

Braylin Hohman, ninth grade, is the recipient at Forbes Road. She is the daughter of Kristie and Hubert Hohman. Her jacket was provided by Lynch Farms of Warfordsburg and was presented to her by Marlin Lynch, president of the Fulton County Farm Bureau.

Sidonna Hershey, eighth grade, is the recipient at McConnellsburg High School. She is the daughter of Yolanda and Todd Hershey. Her jacket was provided by Denny Seville, Morton’s Feed Mill of Webster Mills and was presented to her by Marlin Lynch of Fulton County Farm Bureau.

Much appreciation goes to all who made this possible and especially to the FFA advisors: Mrs. Mosemann at Southern Fulton; Mr. Persun at Forbes Road; and Mrs. Meyer at Central Fulton.
