After enjoying a few relaxing days in the Outer Banks, Donnie Horne arrived home with chest pain and a trip to Harrisburg, where it was discovered he had some damage from a heart attack. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Buzz and Bea Covert attended Kean Goshorn’s baseball game on Monday evening at Rockhill.

Mamie Streightiff and Karen and Terri Grissinger visited with Jim, Lori, Brenden, Holden and Camden Lupey and Donnie and Panda Horne on Monday evening to check out the cute, little baby goats. They are really growing and are quickly being claimed for fair projects.

Nora and Ruth Grissinger and Jane Brown enjoyed lunch out on Sunday afternoon.

Donna Locke and Ruth Grissinger attended Cameron Locke’s game on Thursday evening at Shippens- burg. Toryn, Cameron and Brayden are all playing ball this summer.

The Bradley Gilliland family would like to thank everyone for their generous support of the chicken barbecue that benefits a scholarship fund.

Three Springs Fire Co. will hold a chicken barbecue dinner on June 10. Takeouts will be available.

Angel Wings will host the second annual Matt Murphy benefit ride and pig roast Saturday, June 9, at Harper’s Memorial Park with riders leaving at noon. The event will open to the public at 4:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Penny Chilcote.
