MES Character Counts Students Named

McConnellsburg Elementary School is continuing its character education program this year. It is believed that character counts so each month a different character trait will be promoted. In April the character trait of respect was worked on. A respectful student is one who shows how to be considerate of others and their belongings. It also means recognizing the value of people, property, the environment and yourself. The following students were chosen by their teacher for demonstrating the qualities of respect:

Maggie Mellott, Henry Alexander, John Graham, Bowen McFadden, Aaron Mumma, Abby Orth, Takoda Newell, Jonah Peck, Aiyanna Thomas, Joshua Johnson Jr., Michael Strait, Faith Peck, Jack Cornelius, Quentin Slates, Haleigh Sipes, Ethan Abbott, Jenna Richards, Jilleanne Sharpe, Slade Speigle, Hannah Glenn, Ashlyn Dickinson, C.J. Baxter, Herbie Berkstresser, Alexa Felty and Holden Smit.
