Nina Roher has returned home after a recent stay at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Enjoying some golf recently at Park Hills Country Club in Altoona were Chuck and Tom Streightiff, Kent East and Steve Jackson. While there they also saw Roger Hoover.

Last Friday, Chuck and Tom Streightiff, John Young and Dave Mellott participated in the FOP golf tournament at Armitage Country Club near Mechanicsburg.

Gordon and Donna had a close call on Sunday with an overprotective mother skunk as they stopped to admire her little one on their way to church. Like any good mother, it’s risky to raise their anger or their tail so to speak.

Celebrating Mother’s Day with dinner out on Sunday were Gordon, Donna and Justin Locke, Steve, Karen and Terri Grissinger, Ramon and Tammy Martin, and Nora and Ruth Grissinger.

Gary, Donna, Cassie and Caleigh Clark traveled to Michigan recently to attend the retirement celebration for Gary’s brother Jerry. He recently retired from the Air Force as a master sergeant. While there Caleigh also celebrated her fourth birthday.

Tammy Martin visited with Buzz and Bea Covert on Sunday afternoon.

Recent visitors with Steve, Karen and Terri Grissinger were Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, June and Shawn Mills, Dan and Carol Jenakovich, and Ramon and Tammy Martin.

Angel Wings will host the second annual Matt Murphy benefit ride and pig roast on Saturday, June 9, at Harper’s Memorial Park with riders leaving at noon. The event will open to the public at 4:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Penny Chilcote.
