Donald A. Duncan Jr. McConnellsburg, 58

Donald Andrew Duncan Jr., 58, McConnellsburg, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., due to the selfless act of helping another truck driver.

He was born July 23, 1953, in Hanover, Pa., the son of the late Donald Duncan Sr. and Evelyn (Roney) Duncan of Chandler, Ariz. He married to Audrey Wink on November 29, 1986.

He was employed as a truck driver for 42 years with various organizations, his last being TDI/Harley Davidson out of York, Pa.

He, along with Audrey, attended Cito United Methodist Church in Mc- Connellsburg.

He was a member of the McConnellsburg American Legion Post 561. He enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it be camping in Virginia, golfing or being home with his grandchildren, family is what mattered most.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Audrey, of Mc- Connellsburg; three children: Malissa (wife of Jeremy) Kutz of York Springs, Pa.; Troy (husband of Karen) Buterbaugh of Harrisonville; and Nichole (wife of Ryan) Earley of McConnellsburg; six grandchildren: Austin, Bronson, Lexi, Alex, Kendall and Cayden; and his mother, Evelyn Duncan, Chandler, Ariz.; three brothers: Richard, husband of Rheda Duncan of Dover, Pa.; Joel, husband of Phyllis Duncan of Abbottstown, Pa., and Daniel Duncan of Hanover, Pa; and six sisters: Bonnie (wife of Samuel ) Guthrie of Chandler, Ariz.; Terry (wife of Eugene) Braham Sr. of Gettysburg; Donna Moore of Chandler, Ariz.; Karen, wife of Ed Hempstead of Apache Junction, Ariz.; Susan (wife of Bob) Sites Jr. of Hanover, Pa., and Phebe Rice of Bonniville, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Duncan Sr., and one daughter, Rhonda Duncan Little.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Cito United Methodist Church in Mc- Connellsburg, with Rev. John Godissart officiating. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery.
