Early in April Mc- Connellsburg FFA Chapter held its annual safe tractor driving competition. Fourteen students competed in several categories including driving a two-wheel wagon through a course and backing a four-wheel wagon, a written test on tractor safety and tractor troubleshooting. Results are as follows:

First - David Seiders; second - Casey Randler; third - Tyler Long; fourth - Dalton Meyers; fifth - Kelsey Ramsey; sixth - Jordan Mellott; seventh - Patrick Tomlinson and eighth - Zach Strait.

Also competing were Courtney DeShong, Courtney Minor, Dylan Souders, Krista De-Shong, Zach Cloughley, and Ashley Penwell.

The first, second and third place finishers have the opportunity to compete in the area safe tractor driving contest at So. Fulton. The winner of that competition will represent the area at FFA’s state tractor driving contest in June.
