New Latter-day Saint Missionary

Sister Whitney Egbert, a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, returned home to Washington after finishing her 18-month mission. Sister Meghan Andersen has joined Sister Jennifer Swensen in serving the Hancock Ward.

Sister Andersen, from Lehi, Utah, spent the first six months of her mission for the Church in Harpers Ferry, W.Va. She has one older sister and two younger sisters.

Sister Andersen took two years of study in American Sign Language at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. She worked in a chiropractic office as an assistant and secretary and was a nanny for a summer.

While at home, Sister Andersen enjoys singing and being with her family. She also likes to ride horses and 4-wheelers and to go camping.

Upon completion of her mission, Sister Andersen plans to go back to school and possibly become an American Sign Language interpreter. She hopes to one day get married in one of the LDS Temples.
