Great Cove Golf News

Craig Paylor shot a 34 to take the individual low gross win in Great Cove Men’s League play last Thursday evening. His uncle and veteran golfer, Carl Paylor, snared individual low net with a score of 28. Both men won pro shop gift certificates. Golf balls went to closest-to-the-pin winners Craig Paylor, No. 12, and Howard Tomlinson, No. 16.

At the end of the second week of league play Craig Paylor and Brett Cornelius are at the top of the leader board wtih 14 points. Tied for second with 13 points each are the teams of Foster and Ryan Earley and Andy Washabaugh and Carl Paylor. Russell Harmon and Harold Batdorff follow in third with 12-1/2 points.

Upcoming play at Great Cove includes Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Spring Fever Tournament, April 27; women’s league begins, May 2; two-day calcutta, May 5 & 6; Fulton County Builder’s Association Tournament, May 18; couples league begins, May 18; and Conner Kids Scholarship Tournament, May 26.
