The weekend weather sort of turned ugly, but we need the rain. It has decided we are not done with winter yet, so we have snow.
We extend our sympathy to the family and relatives of evelyn Hann, who passed away last week.
We are glad to hear Dot Shaffer was able to return home after spending a few days in the hospital. We hope she continues on to recovery. Also, we hope Betty Shotts is improving in health.
Leonard Price, a member of the Gideons, was guest speaker at Knobsville United Methodist Church Sunday morning.
By the time these items go to press, I hope folks have taken time to go vote on Tuesday.

Household Hint: When you’d like to recycle pretty decorative tins for gift giving, you often have a label to remove first. Spread it lightly with creamy peanut butter and leave it overnight. In the morning the label will come off easily.
