The Easter Bunny visited Better Days Animal League’s Thrift Store on April 7 to the delight of scores of area children. An Easter egg hunt on the adjoining lawn had kids of all ages scrambling to find eggs – all filled with candy – and many with special prizes for the very lucky ones.

Inside the store the bunny posed for pictures with children and pets, while shoppers took advantage of the special rummage sale going on. A jelly bean counting contest, bake sale and golden eggs hidden throughout the store added to the day’s festivities.

Better Days Animal League is a nonprofit animal shelter providing sanctuary to abused, abandoned and neglected animals. Proceeds from the thrift store go directly to provide food, shelter and medical expenses for the animals in their care and to support the services of a humane police officer for Fulton County.
