John and Susan Glazier held their annual fish rodeo on Saturday at Cove Creek.

The fishermen had a perfect day on Saturday for trout season. Stream banks were full of anglers.

Folks in the area celebrating wedding anniversaries were Chris and Christian Hann, 13 years on April 25; Jack and Lib Sipes, Mike and Cindy Glessner, April 19; and Bob and Nora Vores, April 20.

The Jacob Brothers presented a wonderful concert on Sunday night at Sideling Hill Church.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Big Cove Tannery had a nice day for its hoagie and homemade soup sale on Saturday. It was a busy place.

A Journey of Faith/Let’s Get Connected event was held over the weekend at Cito United Methodist Church.

Public Opinion weekly honor roll student-athletes were Jordan Clingerman, baseball; Jenna Hollenshead, track and field; Kelsey White, softball, all of Southern Fulton.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Richard “Dick” Ramsey, who passed away over the weekend.

The congregation at Mc- Connellsburg St. Paul Lutheran Church enjoyed music by The Country Christians on Sunday at their worship service.
