Get well wishes to John Mills, who recently had kneereplacement surgery.

The annual Bradley Gilliland chicken barbecue scholarship meal will be held at the Orbisonia Lions Club pavilion Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reserved takeout tickets are available from the SHC FFA students or family members. Please support this scholarship fund in Bradley’s memory.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Steve and Karen Grissinger enjoyed Sunday visiting with Tim Streightiff in Washington, D.C. The group enjoyed a visit to the Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market and a drive-by tour of many attractions. Tim was a super host and an excellent D.C. driver.

Brian and Micah Ramsey visited with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Saturday evening and enjoyed some time checking out the fish in the pond.

Gordon and Donna Locke attended a birthday party for Cameron Locke on Sunday evening. Also attending were Nora Grissinger, Adam, Amanda, Brayden and Toryn Locke and other friends and family members.

George and Heather Locke had a good time on Saturday evening at the Three Springs Fire Co. cash drawing held to benefit the parade fund.

Congratulations to Richelle Grissinger and Travis Boyd on their exchange of vows on Saturday at Im- manuel Bible Church. Richelle is the daughter of Jim and Patti Grissinger.

Recent visitors with Steve, Karen and Terri Grissinger were Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Buzz and Bea Covert, Travis Madden, Brent Carlson, Dan and Carol Jenakovich, and Ramon and Tammy Martin.

Three Springs Fire Co. will host a chicken barbecue Sunday, April 29.

The Cook’n for a Cure Relay Life Team will hold a basket/ tool bingo on Saturday, April 21, at Three Springs Firehall beginning at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. The cost is $20 per ticket and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Make it a date night activity and win prizes including tools for the guys and baskets for the gals.
