Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather, but we still need rain.

A nice crowd attended the sale at The Barn storage on Rt. 522 Saturday.

Knobsville United Methodist Church folks will hold a food and rummage sale Satuday, April 28.

The United Methodist women will hold its annual women’s spiritual enrichment gathering Thursday, April 19, at 7 p.m., at Center United Methodist Church. Pastor Betty Secrist will be the speaker.

Sorry to hear Kathy Barnett and Betty Shotts aren’t doing as well as we would like to hear. We send get well wishes their way.

Leonard Price will be bringing the message at Knobsville United Methodist Church Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Mr. Price is a member of the Gideons.

Remember that next Tuesday is the spring primary election. Everyone should go to vote to help put your candidate on the ballot in the fall and also remember this is a presidential election.

Garden Hint: Plant a row of peas two inches in front of a row of sunflowers. The sunflowers grow faster then the peas and provide shade. Better still, you don’t have to build trellises because they will climb the sunflower stalks.
