Three Springs Man Injured

A Three Springs man was flown to Altoona Hospital last Tuesday for treatment of injuries suffered during a single-vehicle accident.

Pennsylvania State Police at the McConnellsburg barracks said Andrew T. Mc- Falls was transported to the hospital with critical injuries following the 4:17 p.m. crash. McFalls, 20, was injured while travelling northbound on North Valley Road.

Just south of the intersection of Mountain House Road, McFalls’ Suzuki GSXR1300 crossed into the southbound lane and went onto the berm where it struck a tree stump. McFalls went airborne following impact and landed 30 feet from the tree stump. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet.

He will be cited by state police for driving on roadways laned for traffic. State police were assisted on the scene by PennDOT and the Raystown Ambulance Co.
