Edna P. Keebaugh
Edna P. Keebaugh, 92, Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Center, McConnellsburg, and formerly of Hustontown, died Sunday, April 8, 2012.
She was born in Harrisonville, October 16, 1919, the daughter of the late J. Emory and Leona (Schooley) Sipes. She was reared by Grant and Mary Baker from the age of 8. She was the widow of Alfred C. Keebaugh, whom she married on April 8, 1936. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1988..
She was a member of Knobsville Church of the Brethren.
She retired from Overly- Raker in McConnellsburg as a seamstress after 12 years. In her earlier years she worked for the Dublin Township school district for 11 years and the Penn State Extension Service in McConnellsburg for 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, and music.
She is survived by her daughters: Deanna Bequeath of Saxonburg, Pa., and Sharon (wife of John) Newbern of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Jack (husband of Diane) Keebaugh of Martinsburg, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy M. Keebaugh; her brothers: Charles Sipes, Fred Sipes, Harold Sipes, James Tice; her sisters: Margaret Glunt and Estalene Unger; an infant brother and two infant sisters.
Religious services will be held at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, at noon on Thursday, April 12, with Pastor Chris Elliott and Pastor Richard Bernhard officiating.
Interment will be at Hustontown Cemetery.
There will be visitation on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellburg.
