Police Probe Cause Of Trailer Fires
INDIANA, Pa. (AP) – State police are trying to figure out what started a fire that destroyed two neighboring mobile homes and a car parked nearby in western Pennsylvania.
Firefighters an state police say the blazes were reported sometime after 4 p.m. Saturday in White Township. That’s about 45 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
Authorities believe the fire began in a mobile home being rented by four women and that wind spread the fire to a home occupied by a family of three and also burned a nearby car. All seven people were left homeless in the fire.
Nobody was hurt in the fire. A state police fire marshal was still investigating the cause on Monday.
