We had a nice weekend. We hope Easter weekend will be nice.

Easter sunrise services will be at 6 a.m. at Knobsville United Methodist Church followed by breakfast. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy this special morning.

Spirit enrichment services by the McConnellsburg Cluster will be held at Center United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 19, at 7 p.m. Speaker will be Pastor Betty Secrist.

Happy birthday wishes to Damon Schoen, April 6; Precious Mae Mann, April 10; Edith Gallaher, April 11; Charles McQuait, April 18; Lauryn King and Corrinna Parsons, April 18.

Knobsville United Methodist Church folks are having a rummage sale on Saturday, April 28. They will be accepting donations starting Monday, April 9.

The spring primary ill be held Tuesday, April 24. If you are not registered it is important to do so as this is a very important election as it is a presidential election. Every vote is important.

Forbes Road baseball team is taking orders for Krispy Kreme donuts for delivery on Thursday, April 19. Anyone interested in placing an order see any junior high or varsity player.

Household hint: Aphids – to get rid of aphids, mix nonfat dry milk with water according to the directions on the box. Put it in a spray bottle and apply it to the leaves of the plants. As the milk dries the aphids get stuck in the milk residue and die. Nonfat dry milk is inexpensive and does no harm to plants.
