McCbg. FFA Attends State Leadership Conference
The students were among more than 400 Pennsylvania FFA members who had the opportunity to learn how bills and laws are made and edited and how to use parliamentary procedure. They also participated in an afternoon of community service activities where they had the chance to help out with the surrounding area picking up trash, cleaning or packing boxes for emergency aid.
Monday night, Hoss’s steak house provided the participants with dinner, and they had a dance to say goodbye to all their new friends. They ended their conference with breakfast on Tuesday morning with their state representatives and a tour of the capital. “It was really great to be able to actually practice the legislative process!” commented sophomore Cody Trail. “It’s not always easy to get everyone to work together.”
