Immanuel Bible Church will host an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday, April 6, beginning at 10 a.m. for children from nursery age to sixth grade.

Visitors with Ramon and Tammy Martin of Pinola on Saturday were Tom, Mamie and Tim Streightiff, Travis Madden, and Steve and Karen Grissinger.

Buzz and Bea Covert, Steve and Karen Grissinger, and Ramon and Tammy Martin enjoyed lunch out last Sunday at the Texas Roadhouse in Hagerstown. Terri Grissinger and several FFA students were attending the SLLC Conference in Harrisburg.

Sharon Horne, Jessie Rhoades, Susie Schmidt and Pat Ramsey recently enjoyed a trip to Key West, Fla. While they were traveling, we were enjoying nearly as warm temperatures but without the warm ocean breezes.

Lydia Souders recently spent two weeks in Chihuahua, Mexico, visiting old friends. Shaye Painter was along on the trip for a week as well as Denny Hunsinger and Rodney Painter. The group visited a Tarahumara Indian village where they had previously done mission work to see how the church was doing and visited Copper Canyon.

Recent visitors with Steve and Karen Grissinger and family were Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightif, Buzz and Bea Covert, Mike, Patty, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi, and friends, and Ramon and Tammy Martin.

Donna Locke, Tammy Martin, and Karen and Terri Grissinger enjoyed dining at the Olive Garden on Wednesday evening to celebrate Terri’s birthday.

George and Heather Locke and Gordon and Donna Locke and Joy visited with Irene Park at Meadowview Manor last week.

Spring is here and a bear has been sighted, along with many other creatures of nature. Does anyone have an idea what happens to the mushroom crop when it is 80° in March?

Angel Wings will host a spring craft show March 31 and April 1 at Orbisonia Lions Club building.

The Angel Wings annual benefit ride will be held on Saturday June 9, 2012.
