Roy L. Lehman

Roy L. Lehman, 70, Chambersburg, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born February 21, 1942, in Waynesboro, to Chester and Florence (Randall) Lehman. He was married to Dolores (Pittman) Lehman on August 6, 1965.

He was retired from Chambersburg Engineering Co., where he had been a crane operator for 36 years.

He was of the Protesant faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dolores J. (Pittman) Lehman and their six children: Bruce (husband of Donilee) Lehman of Chambersburg; Wayne Lehman of Chambersburg; Dianne (wife of Dale) Eichelberger of Shippensburg; Leroy (husband of Susan) Lehman of York; Karen (wife of Barry) Horton, McConnellsburg; and Gary Lehman, Waymart; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Cinda L. Pittman of Greencstle; Delta R. (wife of Kenneth) Oberholzer, Greencastle; Shirley L. (wife of Henry) Amis of Chambersburg; LaVonne I. Tobias, Plant City, Fla.; two brothers: Ronald E. Lehman, Winchester, Va.; Gerald G. Lehman, Williamson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John L. Lehman and Richard E. Lehman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 22, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Ltd., Chambersburg. Pastor Paul Tatum will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
