Goldie E. Grubb
Born November 18, 1929, in Rock, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late John M. and Bessie Jane Kinzer Prince and the widow of the late Delcia G. Grubb who died August 8, 2006.
She was a member of Antioch Christian Church and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons: Danny G. Grubb and Albert L. Grubb, both of Big Cove Tannery; William L. Grubb of Chambersburg; Harold G. Grubb and Alan W. Grubb, both of Baltimore; two daughters: Connie S. Galinni of Baltimore, and Carolyn F. Ford of Big Cove Tannery; two sisters: Mae Nicholson of Princeton, W.Va., and Lucy Thompson of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, David Prince of Herndon, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda Bowman, and two sisters, Edna Wood and Rosa Epperly.
Services were held Tuesday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Christian Church, Big Cove Tannery. Gerald Waltz officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
