Pa. Clinic Rampage Victims In Fair, Good Condition
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Officials in western Pennsylvania say the four people still hospitalized after a shooting rampage at a psychiatric in clinic in Pittsburgh remain in fair or good condition.
A spokeswoman for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center says a 35- year- old man is listed in good condition while two other men aged 46 and 49 are listed as fair and a 65- year-old woman is also listed in fair condition. Another patient was discharged Friday .
Police say 30-year- old John Shick opened fire shortly after entering the lobby of the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic on Thursday afternoon. A possible motive hasn't been released. Authorities say he was killed by University of Pittsburgh police who had trained for a Virginia Techstyle shooting.
