Immanuel Bible Church will host an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday, April 6, beginning at 10 a.m. for children from nursery age to sixth grade.

Congratulations to the Forbes Road Drama Club for their presentation of “Oklahoma” last week. Logan Kennedy was one of the main characters and did a great job.

We are happy to report Tracey White, wife of Tim Fields, is recovering quite well after recently having surgery on her neck. Tanner will be happy when she is 100 percent and can lift him more often.

Mandy Snyder is recovering from several weeks of pneumonia. Mike, Aaron and Mike Jr. were kept busy keeping up with mom’s jobs while also fighting off some bugs. We’re happy to report all are on the mend now.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Steve and Karen Grissinger enjoyed the first cookout of the season on Sunday evening. There is nothing better than some roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and a nice warm fire in March with no bugs.

Brian, Emily, Micah and Adelyn Ramsey had dinner with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Saturday evening.

Sharon Horne visited with Jessie Rhoades and Pat Ramsey on Monday.

Recent visitors with Steve and Karen Grissinger and family were Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, Tom and Mamie Streightif, George Naugle, Buzz and Bea Covert, and Ramon and Tammy Martin.

Karen and Terri Grissinger and Tammy Martin visited with Mark and Cherry Hale and Lindsey and Noah Hall on Saturday morning. Everyone had a turn at holding the newest member of the family, and he is a cutie.

Orbisonia United Methodist Church will host a free Lenten soup dinner on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. followed by a message regarding the Lenten season at 6:45 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Three Springs Fire Co. will hold a chicken gravy and waffles dinner on Sunday, March 18, beginning at 11 a.m.
