Ohio Woman’s Trial Set In Toddler’s Window Fall

NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. (AP) – The western Pennsylvania trial is set to begin for an Ohio woman charged with dropping her friend’s toddler out a third-story apartment complex window.

Twenty-eight-year-old Terra Jean Hill, of East Liverpool, Ohio, is charged with aggravated assault and other crimes for allegedly dropping Alizae Mosconi out of the window in New Brighton, Pa. on Aug. 25.

Police say Hill is distantly related to the girl and her mother, who were visiting the apartment complex at the time. Authorities say Hill dangled the 23-monthold out the window to “teach her a lesson” for throwing a ball at Hill’s face and then dropped the child, who suffered a skull fracture, a dislocated elbow and two broken arms.

The girl has undergone physical therapy to recover.

Hill’s trial was scheduled to begin Monday in Beaver County Common Pleas Court.
