Leonard Keebaugh, 57, Hustontown, was named

Hustontown Fireman of the Year at ceremonies during the annual banquet at the firehall. Keebaugh has been very active in fire company affairs. Barbara Fagley was able to save the life of her baby daughter, but was unable to save her 5-year-old son in an early morning fire on Friday, which destroyed the family’s Harrisonville trailer home shortly after her husband, Ronald Fagley, had left for work at JLG Industries. The body of the boy was found in a room at the rear of the mobile home, which the fire had not yet reached. Death was due to asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation. Mrs. Fagley was able to save the life of her 7-week-old daughter, Crystal Dawn, by throwing her from a window, and Mrs. Fagley suffered second-degree burns of the hands and legs, about 12 percent of body surface. The baby suffered smoke inhalation but was not hurt from the fall.
