Congratulations to Rick and Kelli Harper Grissinger on the birth of their daughter Trinity Ann on Friday morning. Trinity weighed in at 10 pounds, 8 ounces and is absolutely beautiful. Trinity is the granddaughter of Steve and Evelyn Grissinger, George Harper and Diane Beatty.

Walnut Grove Senior Youth Group held its annual spaghetti dinner at the church fellowship building after services on Sunday. A large group of folks enjoyed the meal and had fun bidding at the silent and baked goods auction tht followed the meal. The youth group would like to thank everyone for making its annual valentine spaghetti dinner a huge success.

Roger and Pat Ramsey visited with Brian, Emily, Micah and Adelyn Ramsey on Sunday evening. They were sharing some of their baked goods from the auction earlier in the day.

Greg Locke of Georgia was visiting with George, Heather, Gordon, Donna, James and Justin Locke this week.

Buzz and Bea Covert, Travis and Angela Madden and Ramon and Tammy Martin enjoyed a few days last week cruising from Miami to Key West and then to Cozumel, Mexico.

Chuck McClanahan will be conducting revival services at Walnut Grove Church of God from April 1 to 4.

Recent visitors with Steve and Karen Grissinger and family were John Hodge, Brent Carlson, Donna Locke, Mike, Patty, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and friend Brad and Ramon and Tammy Martin.

Orbisonia United Methodist Church host its Saturday breakfast gatherings and Friday Night Jam events at the Outreach Center.

Orbisonia United Methodist Church will also host the Saturday night checkers games beginning at 5:30 p.m. Held the last Saturday of each month, this activity is open to the public.

Shade Gap Volunteer Fire Co. has begun its annual hoagie sales. The price is $4.50. Please call to place large orders or stop in and pick up a few up for dinner. If you would like to donate your time to help or deliver, please contact a member of the fire company.

Immanuel Bible Church will hold a soup social on Sunday, February 26, following morning worship services. The movie “Courageous” will be shown at 6 p.m. on February 26 at IBC. Everyone is welcome to attend.
