February, but it surely is great weather, although winter may still have something in store. Anyway we enjoy this weather.

Our prayers go out to Betty Shotts for a speedy recovery after having surgery.

Knobsville United Methodist Church folks will be offering a community sausage and pancake supper on Saturday evening, February 25, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Menu will be sausage, pancakes, coffee, tea and juice. There is no charge for meal, but monetary donations will be accepted. Come out and enjoy the meal.

There will be celebration held at Hustontown Firehall on February 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to help Larue Shaw celebrate her 90th birthday. This will an open house celebration. Everyone is invited to attend and help her celebrate her special day.

A six-week video Bible study, “Final Words From The Cross,” will begin this week at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Thursday at 7 p.m. A soup and sandwich sale will begin at 5:45 p.m. No charge for meal. Come out and enjoy the evening.

If you are eligible to vote and not registered it would be good to do so then you can vote at this very important primary and also for fall elections since it is a presidential election.

Center United Methodist Church serves free soup on Wednesdays followed by worship services. Meal time is 6 p.m.

Charlotte Crouse will have a special day this year on February 29. So we send happy birthday wishes to her.

Household Hint: Protecting recipes. Keep a piece of plastic wrap in every cookbook you use. Cover the page you’re working from with the plastic so that spills can be wiped off without soiling the book itself.
