3-on-3 Basketball Competition
The Fulton County Community Christian School (FCCCS) Boosters Club will sponsor a 3-on-3 basketball competition Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Needmore Bible Church. Cost is $10 per person if preregistered by March 17, or register at the door between 8-8:30 a.m. at $15 per person. Competition categories are co-ed elementary for 3rd-6th grades, 7th-12th-grade boys, 7th-12th grade girls, adult male over 18, and adult female over age 18. First- and second-place winners will be awarded prizes in each category with first-place winners receiving $100 for the team. Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor an open stage Saturday, February 25, at 6 p.m. Kitchen opens at 5 p.m. Admission is free. Everyone is invited to come out and share talent or just come out and enjoy the evening.

Registration for the 2012 season for Forbes Road T-ball, Little League and girls softball will be held Saturday, February 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hustontown Firehall. Boys and girls are invited to register for T-Ball (ages 5 to 7), minor league (ages 8 to 9), major league (ages 10 to 12), girls modified softball (ages 9 to 12), girls fastpitch softball (ages 13 to 17) and pony/teener baseball (ages 13 to 16). Registration fee is $25 per player for Little League and softball, $35 per player for pony/teener. Firstyear players should bring a copy of their birth certificate for submission to the league. A Time for Fun for Kids and Adults – Just bring favorite indoor games to Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., for a time of fun, fellowship and refreshments. PASR Cherry Blossoms Trip
Fulton PASR encourages all school retirees to go with them to the Cherry Blossom Festival and parade in Washington, D.C., April 14. Call Bollman’s at 814-623-2181 to make reservations. Those who reserve first get the best bleacher seats for the parade. Cost is $52, which must be in by March 16. The bus leaves Everett at 5 a.m. and returns about 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Deadline is March 5.
