No Detours Planned For Route 30 Bridge Project

Workers with P & W Excavating of McConnellsburg continue work Tuesday cutting away the hillside for a new alignment of U.S. Route 30 at the Breezy Point bridge over Patterson Run in Licking Creek Township. The hillside will be removed to bridge level, eliminating a complete turn in the road. The bridge will be replaced slightly downstream from the existing structure by Lobar Site Development of Dillsburg, Pa. Because the existing bridge is being used for traffic and the new roadway is being constructed beside the existing road, no traffic stops or detours are planned.
