A large barn on the farm of Kenny King near Hustontown was destroyed by fire last Tuesday afternoon. Clark Brant, fire chief of Hustontown Fire Co., which responded to the calls, said four cows were lost in the fire, along with a hay baler and a small trailer attached to a farm tractor. Brant said the firemen battled the blaze for about four hours. Due to the fact that the Kings have no phone, King had to drive two miles to report the fire.
