Hearn – Patterson United In Marriage
Dublin Mills Community Church in Hustontown was the setting of a candlelight ceremony on Saturday, March 19, 2011, uniting Hilary Aura Patterson and David Corbin Hearn. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Sam Stoey.
The bride is the daughter of Curt and Amy Patterson of Maddensville. The groom is the son of David and Susan Hearn of Rockhill.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride chose to wear a whitesatin halter A-line gown with lace applique, accented with pearls, crystals, a beaded lace cut-out hem and flowing chapel train. The bride’s veil, created by her mother, was embellished with pearls, crystals and a sequined tiara. She carried a clutch-style bouquet of blue hydrangea, white calla lilies, white roses, green hypernicum berries accented with pearl sprays.
Maid of honor was Tara Knepper, friend of the bride. She wore a strapless silver-satin full-length gown. Ladies in waiting were Tamra Jones, Sara Sutton, Stacy Locke and Jamie Stoey, all friends of the bride. They wore strapless satin full-length gowns in serene blue. The ladies carried clutch-style bouquets of white roses, white fresia, blue delphinium and green hypernicum berries.
Flowergirls were Sadie Long and Brianna Henry, cousins of the bride. They carried kissing balls of white pompoms, blue delphinium and green hypernicum berries.
Duties of the best man were performed by Michael Culley, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Benjamin Souders, Brian Kane, Caesy Shaw, all friends of the groom, and Ryan Patterson, brother of the bride. Serving as ringbearers were Andrew Wilson, cousin of the groom, and Sean Patterson, nephew of the bride.
Jessica Conable, friend of the bride, performed the duties of acolyte for the candelight ceremony. Delaney Patterson, cou-sin of the bride, provided guests with wedding programs and served as guestbook attendant.
Providing music selections for the ceremony was pianist Jay Hale, cellist Patricia Hall, and soloists Nanette Thomas and Daniel Strait. Wedding coordinator duties were performed by Alyssa Cure and Mary Stoey. Sound coordinator was Mike Sellers and videographer for the day was Nathan Patterson. Photography was done by Kristin Earley Photography and flowers were by Philips Flowers of Mercersburg.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents and was held at Celebrations Unlimited. The wedding reception was held at Hustontown Firehall. The wedding cake was created by Dawn Black. DJ for the reception was Travis Abbott.
Following a honeymoon to Sandals Resort in the Bahamas, the couple reside in Rockhill.
