Steers Killed

Two young steers were killed and a mature bull injured along North Clear Ridge Road near the intersection of South Madden Road at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17. According to state police, all three animals were of the MaineTainer breed and belonged to a 47- year-old Hustontown man. The steers have been valued at $5,000.
