Awarded Keystone Degree



McConnellsburg FFA President Kristin Hawbaker was awarded her Keystone FFA degree last Monday during FFA’s midwinter convention held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Kristin was one of more than 350 statewide to receive her degree this year. To earn her degree, Kristin has kept records on her supervised agriculture experience projects since she was a sophomore. She raises market steers and hogs to show and sell at the Fulton County fair every summer. Kristin is also very active in the chapter, planning activities, attending conferences and competing in contests. She is the daughter of Mike and Holly Stains of McConnellsburg and Joe and Davelle Hawbaker of Mercersburg.
