16-Year-Old W. Pa. Girl Killed By Train

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) – Authorities say a 16- year-old girl was struck and killed by a passing train in Beaver Falls, about 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

The Beaver County Times reports that Taylor Elizabeth Donnadio, a junior at Beaver Falls High School, was struck by a Norfolk Southern train early Friday afternoon.

Police Chief Charles Jones says that Donnadio was alone at the time of the incident.

The county coroner says an autopsy will be performed.

The Big Beaver Falls School District says on its website that grief counseling will be offered Saturday at 9: 30 a. m. at the high school.
