Gordon L. Garlock Huntingdon, 49

Gordon Lee Garlock, 49, Huntingdon, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born October 11, 1962, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, he was the son of Elizabeth (Brock) and Frank Garlock. His parents survive at their home in Broad Top City.

He is survied by his daughter, Tia Garlock, Huntingdon; two brothers: Steven Z. Garlock and his wife, Nancy, Shirleysburg and Eric S. Garlock and his wife, Abbie, McConnellsburg; a nephew, Shawn Garlock; nieces McKenzi Garlock and Jamie Claycomb; a great-niece, Addyson Mae Claycomb; as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was self-employed as a HVAC contractor and owner of Gordon’s Heating and Air. He also completed work for Weatherization of Huntingdon.

During his life he enjoyed participating in mud racing and demolition derbies. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, especially camping and boating at Raystown Lake. He also enjoyed hunting.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 6, at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City. Rev. Bonnie Burr officiated. Interment was made in Russellville Methodist Cemetery, James Creek.
