Barry L. Ball

Rockhill Furnace, 20

Barry Lee Ball, 20, Rockhill Furnace, died at 11:52 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011, in Cromwell Township, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born August 11, 1991, in Baltimore, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda (Ball) Sharar and Merle Sharar of Mount Union.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ball, Rockhill Furnace and his stepgrandmother, Eileen Sharar, Mercersburg; his sister, Crystal Ball, Rockhill Furnace and four stepsiblings: Richard Sharar, Fannettsburg; Crystal Williams, New Franklin; Merle Sharar Jr., Mifflintown; and Jerry Sharar, Dry Run.

He was a probational member of the Orbisonia- Rockhill Fire Police and a social member of Shade Gap Volunteer Fire Co.

He was currently employed at JLG Industries Inc., McConnellsburg.

He was an organ donor.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved camping.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, at Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Rev. Ed Seeley officiated.
