Truck Disabled In Crash

A Warfordsburg man was not injured when his northbound 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 overturned along Barnhart Road last Wednesday.

According to state police reports, a white-tailed deer was crossing the Belfast Township roadway at 5:15 p.m. as 24-year-old William R. Robinson was rounding a right-hand turn. Robinson attempted to avoid hitting the deer, and his truck travelled toward an embankment, overturning onto its driver’s side.

Robinson was wearing a seat belt. The truck was removed from the crash scene by Bard’s Towing.
