Welding Students Visits Wyotech

Welding students from the Fulton County Area Vocational-Technical School recently took an educational trip to Wyotech in Blairsville, Pa. Elisa Ramsey, welding program instructor, chaperoned approximately 40 students to tour the facilities and learn about post-graduate opportunities at her alma mater. Welding students particularly enjoyed the heavy duty diesel program, Wyotech’s newest facility, and were impressed with the cleanliness of the shop areas and the variety of equipment and latest technology being used by Wyotech students. Chris Robine, Wyotech representative, followed up the tour by visiting Ramsey’s classes to explain the programs in more detail and to answer the questions of interested seniors.
