Scouts Visit Governor’s Mansion

Junior/Cadette Girl Scout Troop 1597 had the opportunity to visit the National Civil War Museum last Monday. In addition, they visited the Governor’s Mansion at the invitation of Governor and Mrs. Corbett during their campaign stop in Fulton County in 2010. Unfortunately, Mrs. Corbett was out of residence at the time, but the Scouts toured the mansion and grounds, which were decorated for Christmas featuring all of Pennsylvania’s state icons. In addition, the Corbett’s new dogs, Harry and Penny, made a surprise visit with the Scouts.
