Center For Community Action Holds Board Meeting

The board of directors for The Center for Community Action announced at its December 2, 2011, board meeting that it will be making changes to its board to include more representation from the business community. Those changes will allow for business expertise to play a more active role in the board. The board also accepted resignations from Ann Foor, executive director, and Harry Stroup, director of finance. The board thanked and acknowledged the years of service both Foor and Stroup provided to CCA.

Center for Community Action is a tri-county community action agency serving individuals from Bedford, Fulton and Huntingdon counties. CCA provides lowincome individuals with weatherization, home repair, rental and utility assistance, subsidized childcare, medical assistance transportation, job search and a variety of other services.

Center for Community Action’s Bedford office is located at 195 Drive In Lane, Everett. The Fulton office is located at 292 Buchanan Trail, McConnellsburg. The Huntingdon office is located a 207 Fifth Street, Huntingdon.

Center for Community Action is dedicated to providing for the needs of individuals in the three-county region.
