Alma Anderson celebrated her birthday with her brother and sister in Pittsburgh recently.

A one-year birthday party was held on Sunday, December 11, for Sydney Gelvin, daughter of Tyler and Tricia Gelvin of Hustontown.The party was held in St. Paul Lutheran social room.

Re-Creation’s performance, with dancing and singing, was well attended on Saturday night at Cito Methodist Church. It was very enjoyable. Pastor John and Karen Godissart and family also sang.

Members of McConnellsburg Methodist Church were Christmas caroling and also giving out goodies to shutins on Sunday.

Lisa Hughes and Sherry Appleby went on a bus trip on Saturday to New York City and enjoyed Christmas shopping.

Siloam Methodist Church held its annual Christmas play on Sunday.

Ronnie and Debbie Hall celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on December 14.

McConnellsburg Methodist Church SMA Youth Group had their Winter Wonderland formal on Friday night at the former Fulton Theatre. A good time was had by all. Around 60 attended.

Congratulations to Matt Truax and Kate Hill who were married on Saturday in Needmore Bible Church.
