McConnellsburg High School chorus sang at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday. It was enjoyed by all.

Sorry to hear Ann Divens isn’t feeling so well. We send get well wishes her way.

Hustontown Fire Co. will sponsor a 410 shooting match on Saturday, December 17, at 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded and shells provided. The fire company will also sponsor an open stage on Saturday, December 17, at 6 p.m. Kitchen opens at 5 p.m. All are invited to attend and share talent or just come and enjoy the talent of others. Admission is free.

Forbes Road Jr./Sr. High School held its Snowball dance last Saturday night. Named as senior high king was Reilly Barnett and queen was Olivia Mills. Prince was Ryan Hann and princess was Emily Karczewski and duchess was Erin McQuait. Junior high king and queen were Cordell Strait and Bryalin Hohman.

Hustontown Fire Co. will welcome Santa Claus Monday, December 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. He will have treats for children under 12 years old from the Forbes Road School District.

A Christmas Eve program will be held Saturday, December 24, at Fairview United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. and at Knobsville United Methodist Church December 24 at 8 p.m. All are welcome.

Household Hint: If you thoroughly clean turkey or chicken before freezing you can take it from the freezer and immediately place in oven. It can thaw in the roasting pan.
