Cards Of Thanks

BIVENS I would like to thank everyone who played any part in making my 95th birthday a lovely time. The biggest surprise was walking into the restaurant and seeing so many friends and relatives. I especially want to thank Doloris and Evelyn, my daughters, for everything they did to make these last few days a time I will cherish. Many thanks to my neighbors who have been so good to me. And also thanks to all for the cards and gifts I received. Emma H. Bivens

NOTE OF THANKS We would like to say a very big thank-you to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, acts of kindness, and generous donations during Herbie’s long illness and passing. The community was always there for us when we needed something and we are extremely grateful. A special thank-you to all of the staff at Fulton County Medical Center for taking special care of him during all of his treatments and stays at the hospital. He always felt safe when he was there, and the last week he was so excited to be back at a familiar place where he felt safe and secure, and we appreciate that. A blessed thank-you to Rev. Roger Truax and Rev. Denver Plessinger for everything that you did to help us through this difficult time. Also special thanks to the ladies at Pleasant Grove Church for the care after the services, and thank you to Sipes Funeral Home for all of their caring and compassion with the service. Lisa, Christina and Christopher Koontz Joanne Hollenshead and families Kay Anderson and families David Koontz and families

OTT I wanted to thank Mc- Connellsburg Methodist Church for the wonderful experience of A Walk Through Bethlehem. They did such an amazing job of re-enacting that period of time. Every character, prop and animal made the night so real to so many people. I have heard many people comment on how much they enjoyed taking their children through as well as themselves. Thanks again for sharing the “true” meaning of Christmas with us. Merry Christmas, Lisa Ott
