Police Probing NW Pa. Beating Over Backside Insult
CLARENDON, Pa. (AP) – State police are trying to figure out who beat a man outside a northwestern Pennsylvania bar for making an unkind remark about the size of a woman's backside.
Troopers from the Warren barracks aren't identifying the victim, a 32-yearold Girard man, and say they're still looking for the perpetrators of the crime outside a veterans' club in Clarendon on Nov. 26.
State police say the victim was taken outside and thrown to the ground before he was kicked by several people. Police say the man refused medical treatment at the scene for facial injuries, including a cut in his mouth.
Police say the people who beat the man sped away in a silver pickup truck.
