SF To Hold Christmas Concert

Senior High Chorus Senior High Chorus Southern Fulton High School Vocal Music Department will present “We Need a Little Christmas,” at its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The concert will feature senior high chorus, junior high chorus, and SFHS Ensemble under the direction of Dan Meredith.

Familiar selections include

“ Sleigh Ride,” “Deck the Halls,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Winter Wonderland” with “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” “The Twelve Groovy Days of Christmas” is a humorous setting of the familiar tune to the beat of the 1970s with gifts reflecting the style of the era. New tunes will include a jazz styled selection entitled “ Swingin’ at Santa’s Place,” and the a cappella selections, “ Ding- a Ding-a Ding,” and “A Carol for to Sing.” The concert will conclude with the combined choirs performing “What Child Is This?” and “We Need a Little Christmas.”
