Central Fulton Gets Two PA Council For The Arts Grants

Mann accepted a check for $791 on behalf of the McConnellsburg High School musical, “Anything Goes,” to be presented in March 2012. This is the 14th grant designated for the high school musicals Mann has received since 1997. Total grants amount to $14,601.

Moore’s grant of $608 will help defray expenses for the production of “Bah Humbug,” presented by the Mc- Connellsburg Elementary/ Middle School students in grades four through seven. The Charles Dickens Christmas musical was performed November 18, 19 and 20. This is Moore’s second grant. The two grants amount to $1,608.

Mann is music director for both musicals. Moore is artistic director for the MES/MMS musical and assistant to the director for the high school productions.

The awarded grants are supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
