We had another nice weekend then the weather decided to bring us rain, but at least it isn’t snow.

A nice crowd attended the “Visitors From The Past” program by Jim and Luella Krieger from Skyesville, Pa., on Sunday evening at Knobsville United Methodist Church.

Also good to see a nice attendance for Sunday morning worship services at the same church.

Kate Berkstresser visited with Beverly St. Clair on Saturday afternoon.

Thanksgiving Day is not only a day to enjoy that big turkey feast, but the time to thank the Master for all the blessings you have and the opportunity to enjoy what He provides. We wish everyone a great Thanksgiving with family and friends and also safe travelling.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Martha Pittman, who passed away last week.

The Hustontown Fire Co. folks wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving holiday.

Household Hint: Easy way to clean a lot of little glass and china knicknacks is to place them in the kitchen sink and spray them thoroughly with window cleaner. Move them to a towel to air dry.
