W. Pa. Man Jailed In Masked Robbery

FRANKLIN, Pa. (AP) – A man is jailed on charges he robbed a tobacco store in northwestern Pennsylvania while wearing a ghoulish Halloween mask and is being investigated for two similar heists.

Troopers from the Franklin barracks arrested 21-year- old Faron Leroy Tucker II, of Oil City, on Friday night and charged him with the Nov. 9 robbery at Spanky's Tobacco World in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police did not immediately say how they linked Tucker to the heist and The Associated Press could not immediately access court records on the case. Online records don't list an attorney for Tucker.

Police say the heist was similar to one Nov. 3 at Sutch's Midway Lounge, in Rouseville, and another Nov. 2 at a Kwik Fill convenience store in Titusville. The robber wore a ghoulish mask in both.
