Leedy – Gordon United In Marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Leedy Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Leedy Carissa Jade Gordon and Timothy John Leedy were united in marriage Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Needmore Bible Church. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Doug Poffenberger.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Angie Gordon of Needmore. The groom is the son of Tim and Jeanne Leedy of Needmore.

Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents and brothers, the bride appeared in a strapless slimline white gown with a corset closure. The Maggie Sottero creation featured glistening embellished lace and appliques over romance satin. The empire waist was adorned by a band of sequin and rhinestones and accented with a side diamonte floral spray. An embellished tiara with scalloped edge veil and flowing chapel train complimented the gown. The bride carried a freshcut rose bouquet of soft pastel shades accented with rhinestones.

Maid of honor was Caitie Mellott, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Kelsi Swope, friend of the couple; Chelsey Hollenshead, cousin of the groom and Andrea Leedy, sister of the groom. They carried fresh-cut white rose bouquets accented with rhinestones.

Flowergirls were Lindsey Hollenshead, cousin of the groom and Ella Gordon, niece of the bride, who was escorted by Michelle Gordon, sister of the bride.

Best man duties were performed by Tim Witte, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Dustin Gordon, Jared Gordon and Shad Gordon, all brothers of the bride and Nathan Leedy, brother of the groom. Serving as ringbearers were Quaid Brady, cousin of the bride, and Raif Gordon, nephew of the bride, who were escorted by Kelly Gordon, sister of the bride.

Becky Litsky, aunt of the bride, was soloist. Kara Layton Brown, friend of the couple, was pianist. Guestbook attendants were Jenna Hollenshead and Macey Hollenshead, both cousins of the groom.

Serving as wedding coordinator was Darla Mellott.

Photography was by Brian and Shannon Pittman of Brian’s Photography. Videographer was Dane Gordon, cousin of the bride.

Flowers, decorations and other preparations were done by friends and family of the couple.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents in the church fellowship hall. The wedding reception was held in the NBC Family Life Center. The wedding feast was catered by Renee Fitz, along with family and friends and blessed by Pastor Dan Porterfield. Wedding cake, cookies and Hershey’s ice cream were also served. Reception greeters were Steve and Jodi Clark, cousins of the bride. Joe Hollenshead, cousin of the groom, served as master of ceremonies.

After a honeymoon to Lancaster County, the couple reside in Needmore.
