Hustontown

By Kate Berkstresser

Hope everyone got out to enjoy this beautiful fall weekend. We will enjoy it while it lasts.

Congratulations to the winners of the election last week. Just sorry there aren’t more people interested in the officers of our county that they would take the time to go vote.

Sunday, November 20 “Visitors From The Past” with Luella Kreiger as speaker will be at Knobsville United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come out to hear her.

Advent Bible study at Knobsville United Methodist church will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The study is entitled “Journey To Bethlehem.” It was good to see a nice crowd at Knobsville United Methodist Church Sunday. The church folks wish to thank everyone who helped with Election Day soup and sandwiches fundraiser to make it a success.

We send recovery wishes to Lloyd Covert who had some surgery this past week. Visitors with him on Sunday were Bill and Bertha Covert and Pat Berkstresser.

Our sympathy is extended to the Jerry Barnes family, Eric Bitner family and Paul Keefer family.

Happy birthday wishes to Danny Eichelberger, November 11; Dorothy Brant, November 12; Rhonda Black, November 14; Michelle Eichelberger, November 16; and Rebecca Grandi, November 23.
